New Delhi (India), April 1: <\/strong>It’s been a decade Dr Vandana Bhardwaj have been working with children especially supporting them in education. It has been extremely hard to nurture the children and provide them with what they deserve even though they have a lot of potentials. I have been trying hard to break the barrier. What I truly and strongly believe is that\u00a0Equal access to a high-quality\u00a0education should be the priority of the nation.\u00a0\u013ehere\u00a0is\u00a0a\u00a0huge\u00a0educational\u00a0gap\u00a0between\u00a0less\u00a0p\u00edivileged\u00a0and\u00a0p\u00edivileged\u00a0children.<\/p>\n

We all know that the \u00edatio of less p\u00edivileged children is extremely high and creating skilled jobs for them wouldn\u2019t raise their standard of living.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the issue of standa\u00eddized education is never questioned as they don\u2019t come under vote bank.<\/p>\n

Multiple languages are one of the ba\u00ed\u00edie\u00ed students find hard to cope with. Students from \u00edegional schools or Hindi schools find it hard to even clea\u00ed 12th as after 10th all subjects are pu\u00edely in English. \u013ehei\u00ed me\u00edits hold no value o\u00ed ve\u00edy less<\/p>\n

value. Suddenly they come into the category of illite\u00edacy. Unifo\u00edmity in language should be considered from 1st standard itself, only then thei\u00ed \u00edegula\u00edity in schools will make sense. I see many students lose everything and have no confidence to study fu\u00edthe\u00ed because of the language change. Getting a white colla\u00ed job is next to impossible.<\/p>\n

Dr.Vandana believes in solutions.<\/p>\n

She believes Govt. should aim to equalize educational opportunities and achievements which shouldn\u2019t be based on the financial and\/or socioeconomic background of students. Regional schools and private schools should follow one language in maths, science, history, civics, and geography.<\/p>\n

Privileged families should support less privileged children by mentoring them in education. Children should be enrolled in English medium schools only. Less privileged families can still manage basic needs but educational expenses are hard to manage.<\/p>\n

About My Helping hands- Dr. Vandana works for children and animals. Teach children and feed<\/p>\n

animals are what she does without fail. Currently, there are more than 150 children and more than 100 dogs, and cats who are fed every day and are given all medical aid. To date, not even a single helpless child or animal has gone out of her sight without help.<\/p>\n
