Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], January 20: Young Indians (Yi) Ahmedabad will mark two decades of nurturing young leadership with a special evening featuring renowned humorist and storyteller Sairam Dave. The event will be held at the Pandit Deendayal Auditorium on Friday, January 23.

Conceived as an evening where culture, conversation and laughter come together, the programme will reflect Yi Ahmedabad’s 20-year journey of creating impact by engaging youth, promoting value-based leadership and encouraging meaningful dialogue. The interaction with Sairam Dave is expected to appeal across generations, blending humour with social insight.

Darshan Parikh, Chairperson of Young Indians Ahmedabad, said the event is a tribute to the organisation’s commitment to empowering young minds.

“As Yi Ahmedabad completes 20 years, we wanted to mark the occasion with a special experience. Over the past two decades, Yi has worked consistently to provide young leaders with a platform to learn, engage and contribute to society. This evening with a world renowned artist like Sairam Dave symbolises the spirit of connection and reflection that Yi stands for,” he said.

Sairam Dave, known for his distinctive ability to weave humour with everyday realities, said he was looking forward to engaging with the citizens.

“For 20 years, Yi Ahmedabad has been providing a platform for young leadership. These efforts have led to visible change, creating new energy and excitement among the youth while instilling strong values,” he said.

Yi Ahmedabad, part of Young Indians, the youth wing of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), has over the years initiated programmes across leadership development, nation building and social impact.
